1. Provides counselling & consultation.
  2. Takes up individual complaints.
  3. Takes up consumer dispute cases through the Consumer Courts.
  4. Takes up class complaints either on its own or through the 
      Consumer Courts.
  5. Participates in various Consultative/Advisory bodies of the 
      government and government agencies. 
  6. Distributes consumer related literature from time to time depending 
      on availability of funds.
  7. Has put up "Hoardings" on Consumer Protection, at vantage points 
      in the Steel City of Rourkela.
  8. Organises periodical meetings for educating the consumers.
