Consumer Protection Council, Rourkela is a Voluntary Consumer Organisation in its letters and spirit.  The Council is managed by the Executive Committee, comprising of twelve members.  All the Executive Committee Members, excepting one, are in "service" and they offer their services totally free.  The Council is dependent on these Volunteers.  Even the cases are fought by the Council  through these Consumer-Volunteers rather than lawyers.
